Technostat is manufactured from a blend of synthetic fibres. The production process involves converting loose stock fibres into full non-woven felt, via a card, crosslap and needlepunch process.

The Technostat media can be laminated to a variety of substrates, such as activated carbon, mesh, pleatable materials,spunbonds and meltblowns.

It can be supplied in cut pad or roll form in area weights from 23-600 g/m². Roll widths are available from 50mm to 2000mm wide and in lengths up to 350m.
