CAPOFILTER
Capofilter
is a high efficiency filtration material particularly
effective against dust and fume particles in the sub
micron size range.
Capofilter
consists of a specially developed resin impregnated
mat of fine wool fibres, to which an extremely stable
electric charge is imparted during manufacture.
Capofilter
is widely used as a filter medium in respiratory
devices conforming to relevant European Standards such
as EN141 and EN143. In such devices Capofilter offers
the safety of protection against hazardous industrial
environments where dust constitutes a health risk, for

Capofilter-L
(Lap)
is highly compressible, making it ideal for self
sealing encapsulation. Good edge seals can be obtained
in encapsulated filter devices merely by using
slightly oversize pads. A shock and vibration proof
seal is produced by the radial expansion of Capofilter-L
under compression. Capofilter-L can be supplied in
pre-cut form to weight and shape specifications as
required.
